  • Russia beats Holland with 3-1 (1-1 after 90 min.) Dutch coach Guus Hiddink moves on to the semi-finals and will play Spane this Thursday.
  • Holland plays Russia, the team of Dutch coach Guus Hiddink in the quarter finals on Saturday June 21st. Russia won their last game against Sweden with 2-0. 
  • The Dutch National soccer team beat the 2 finalist of the 2006 World Cup in one week and Qualify for the quarter finals! Monday June 9th the Dutch beat Italy with 3-0 and Friday June 13th (Friday the 13th) they beat France with 4-1! A great achievement by the team of head coach Marco van Basten. Tuesday June 17th Holland plays Romania.   • Holland U21 European Champion 2007!! (Qualified for the Olympic games of 2008 in Bejing, China). Holland defeated Serbia in the final, 4-1. Holland also defeated England, Portugal, Israel and tied against Belgium.
  • Holland U23 European Champion 2006. In 2006 Holland U23 were crowned as European Champions as well. Holland has one of the best youth programs in the world!
