Social gathering after game vs Victoria Boys U17 girls 4/9/2010
Yesterday Velocity played their last and one of their best games. They beat Victoria Boys (U17 girls) by 2-0 in a high level game. After the game the girls had a social gathering in the club house with some fries, burger, frikandellen and kroketten. The girls excanged e-mail adresses and they were already talking about having the Dutch girls team come to California next year. A evening they will never forget. Tonight the team will visit the professional game NEC-AZ. This is their last night, tomorrow they will travel back to California.

Update Velocity Europe trip
Tuesday Velocity visited the beautiful city of Xanten in Germany. They played a game vs DJK Labebecke and won this game by 5-0. Today they had a rest day and visited the Amsterdam Arena home of professional club AJAX. In the afternoon they when to down town Amsterdam. Went for a canal tour and did allot of shopping. Winning Mood at the CYSA Soccer Expo
For the 11th time Ton de Hoop is running clinic(s) at a State workshop. This weekend March 27th it will be at the CYSA Soccer Expo at the Convetion Centre in Santa Clara (CA).Ton will run a theory session at 9AM about technical development of players under the title "Master the Ball", followed by a field session in which he will make the link between theory and practice of teaching technical skills. The last session at 11AM Ton will implement what he instructed in the smallest real game: 4 vs 4. Join Ton de Hoop at the Soccer Expo in Santa Clara coming Saturday and enjoy the "Master the Ball" clinics. For more info about the Expo go to: www.cysanorth.org
- Japanese talent trying out at NEC Nijmegen. Yuto Ono is a talented player from Japan who
plays for the Marinos. Winning Mood gave him the chance to try out for the reserves of NEC. NEC invited him back and he is now training with the reserves and the first squad to get a contract. This could also be you next season if you join one of our camps. All our camps will have the International Scouting Program (ISP). The directors Ton en Jeroen de Hoop will visit each camp in the USA and Canada and scout the best players for the unique opportunity to try out in the Netherlands!
- Winning Mood is expanding its horizons. Japan, India, Qatar and Greece are the new countries where Winning Mood is supporting the soccer community with one or more of its programs. Stay tuned for more information.
